The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a dynamic and effective way of guiding young learners during the learning process through inquiry-based learning. This student-centred pedagogical practice encourages students to take charge of their own learning and become a life-long learner as they are guided to raise relevant questions, explore and discover, and pursue their natural curiosities about the world around them. Being a student in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) means the children are learning about themselves and acting in the world through a balanced curriculum of knowledge, conceptual understanding, essential skills, positive attitudes, and the ability to constantly reflect and take action in real life as a result of new learning.
