STEAM is an approach to teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics in an interdisciplinary and applied manner, so as to better equip students to develop the skills to solve societal problems. This approach is an essential component of the 21st century education as it prepares students to gather and evaluate evidence, make sense of information and solve real life problems in an ever changing, increasingly complex world. STEAM projects from kindergarten to High School actively engages all students to practically apply all domains of STEAM to see the connection between what they learn in the classroom and the world around them.
